Dec 19, 2022 · Wolffer Estate Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard and winery located in the Hamptons on Long Island, New York. The vineyard was established in 1987 by Christian Wolffer, a German immigrant. The Wolffer family has been making wine for over 300 years. The vineyard produces a variety of red, white, and rosé wines.

Wölffer's father had always wanted to make wine, and soon Christian was hooked, hiring German winemaker Roth, building a 12,000-square-foot winery and planting 55 acres.
