The purpose of this study is threefold as it assessed (1) how predictive policing is conceptualized, (2) what the potential and proven benefits are, and (3) what evidence there is for these claimed and proven drawbacks. We will summarize the outcomes in these conclusions and highlight the relevance for police practitioners.
