MK8 GTI Wheels and Tires advice needed. Just got a 2024 MK8 GTI S. Because I live in the Tri State area with pock marked roads I am looking for a combination with more sidewall. First choice is to go to 17" wheels with 225/45x17 tires. Alternatively, I am wondering if anyone has tried changing the tires to 235/45x18 to increase the sidewall.
