It is my understanding that the Gen 4 models without any backstrap installed has the same reach as the SF frames. I like the 30s and find it to be a great carry gun.

I find that the 21 has a little heavier trigger pull than the 30, which may be a characteristic of this gun only. However, I find them both about equally accurate. I do most of my dryfiring with the 21 because of the heavier trigger pull. The overall thickness of the Glick 30 is 1.38 inches and the Glock 36 has 1.18 inches thickness. The slide is 1.12 inches thick on the Glock 30 and 1.0 inches on the Glock 36. So, there's a little yet obvious difference between their overall size and thickness.
