Lump on top of rib cage

I've had a pain on what feels like the top of my rib cage but right under my left breast. No lump and when I stand up it's nowhere near my breast but more so towards the bottom of my rib cage. It has been sore for a few years. I've had a ct scan, X-rays because my lower back was hurting too. Nothing showed up. It's definitely tender.
