The package received did not indicate it was “Product of Japan”, hence the price of $98 for l lb of dried scallops. It was advertised as from Hokkaido, Japan but the packaging is skimpy and looks like cheap Chinese substitute. Not sure if I am getting the real thing for the high price! I will keep it this time but won’t buy again.
