The optic and plate weigh a total of 29.35 g (1.035 oz), according to published specs. I have a 43 frame in addition to the 43X frame. I do have failures to return completely to battery and/or off center strikes in about 1 in 100 rds with cheap 115 gr FMJ ammo, regardless of which frame or magazines I use.

So I assembled a G43 today and took it out for function test. Not great. Having problems with the firing pin not resetting and causing fail to feed - it sometimes sticks out of the breech face and the next round hangs up on it. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
