Nov 16, 2020 · Our deadline for scores is a request deadline, not an in office deadline, so requesting them by January 1 is fine. In saying this though, UGA does not use AP scores in our admissions review process. Mr. Graves, I was deferred and I want to make sure that I am following the correct process to update my application.

UGA would like to see updated information on a deferred applicant, especially if there was a decline in their grades over 9-11th grades, or if there was a low grade in 11th grade, but it is not required. As for housing, you would need to work with housing, but we do not have a large amount of housing space for transfers, so you might need to look at local apartments. Many students apply to transfer after their freshman year due to having 15 or more hours of AP credit or DE credit from HS, and with Fall semester work, this adds up to 30 hours or more. Others will apply for Spring term after 1.5 yrs at another institution. Still others apply after 2 years at another college.
