I'm posting this in case anyone has experienced a similar issue, and since I have a possible resolution that is working so far. During the past few months, in my 2017 Fusion SE 2.0L with 28k miles, various interior controls stopped working intermittently: climate control buttons, touch screen, seat memory, window switches, audio controls.
